We've done it. We've fulfilled the prophesy set out by you, the listener. Jake and Sky have begun the classic fantasy epic Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog! We watched episode one: Legend of the Ancient Scroll.
We discuss the many inconsistent accents of the cast, Jake remembers a weird theme week from grade school, Sky quotes Shakespeare, the necessity of walking in all fantasy stories, the excessively slow sword fighting choreography, and Sky is gonna go full D&D nerd up in here.

Hey everyone!
We were going to start Mystic Knights but Sky made the call to watch a new movie. We watched Fast Color.
Sky was very hopeful it would be good but... it didn't end up that way. In fact he fell asleep during the viewing.
We discuss Jake's high standards for home style magazines, we give some parenting tips, we question the underwater abilities of baby humans, and Sky takes some shots at coffee.

Well this is it guys, we're done with My Hero Academia's first season. We watched episode 13 In Each of Our Hearts. Soon it will back into the crap mines, but we got to watch something awesome.
We discuss the Nintendo Switch Lite, pizza, how Jiro is good at superheroing, we try to figure out how heavy the hands on Tomura Shigarak are, Cementos is great, Warpgate guy gets Queereyed, and there is a kitty cat man on the police force.

This week on Pop Culture Failure we watch My Hero Academia episode 9 "Do Your Best, Iida!"
It's another inbetween episode where not much happens but we get a bunch of stuff set up for next episode!
We notice how there are barely any flashbacks in this episode, Iida becomes the class rep, we meet the space-parka wearing 13, AllMight used up all his hero time for the day, and a sinister hand man appears...

Hello everyone!
This week Jake and Sky watched Episode 8 of My Hero Academia: Bakougo's Start Line. It was less exciting then the last one but we did at least get to see more of the students.
We discuss how this show is X-Men with more crying, full quirk combat training on day 2 seems early, Sky admits love for Christopher Walken, we suspect that AllMight and Recovery Girl may have had a thing, and if you can believe it Bakougo is mad.
