Hey everyone!
We're back from our holiday week off with Episode 11 of the Mighty Ducks animated series, "Microducks"
It in fact was not about a "Fantastic Voyage" style parody.
We discuss Captain Planet, a new villian shows up with a boss look, we accidentally become pro-gun, we're upset by Phil's only lines in the show, we decide the ducks are playing by Antman shrinking rules, Sky talks about pot like a complete narc, and the ducks could have a megazord now?

10 Terminator In Reverse With Ducks
Wednesday Dec 23, 2020
Wednesday Dec 23, 2020
This week Jake and Sky watch the cinematic classic Beak To the Future.
Except its really more like terminator. There's also some Star Wars in there.
It's episode 10 of the Mighty Ducks animated series.
We discuss the duck's every day clothing, how they made no effort in hiding the bad guy's intentions, the ducks make a compelling case for disallowing them the vote, Jake doesn't know anything about crystals, and snakes use mice for wiggle power.

09 Right In The Beak
Wednesday Dec 16, 2020
Wednesday Dec 16, 2020
This week Jake and Sky watched episode 9 of the Mighty Ducks animated series, The human factor.
We were very convinced that this episode was going to show us people versions of the ducks, and we were sorely disappointed.
We discuss Wildwing taking a rivet to the face, how Brad Garrett must have been busy this week, the ducks super fail at saving a family business, and the ducks go to a sleepy murder town.

So the Pioneers at Lifetime teamed up with the tastemakers over at KFC to bring us Recipe for Seduction.
...Why did they do this? We... I... No one knows.
But they did.

Wednesday Dec 09, 2020
This week Jake and Sky watch episode 8 "Take me to your leader" of the Mighty Ducks animated series. It didn't make a lot of logical sense, but that's kinda our thing.
We discuss how Malory seems to be genuinely dumb, Duke's sword is incredibly versatile, Sky knows a truly alarming amount of information about BeyBlades and Spinfighters, Jake gets a physics lesson, and Jake gets straight up Loony Toonsed.

07 They Took the Title I Would Have Used
Tuesday Dec 01, 2020
Tuesday Dec 01, 2020
This week Jake and Sky watch episode 7 of The Mighty Ducks animated series, Dungeons and Ducks.
That is exactly the title I would have used for this episode. They took that from me and I am not happy about that.
We discuss how Grin kinda sucks in this one, are the ducks interdimensional aliens or just aliens, the ducks meet definitely not Link from Legend of Zelda, and they solve a maze in the exact way you'd expect them to.

06 The True Path of Hockey
Thursday Nov 26, 2020
Thursday Nov 26, 2020
This week Jake and Sky are joined by Tanner! We watched episode 6 of the Mighty Ducks animated series. "The Power Play"
We're six episodes in and we're already reusing assets.
We discuss racism a lot, how very many puns are in this episode, the finer rules of hockey, what Tanner is attracted to in a duck, and Tanner teaches us about Penguins
Tanner: @SparkyUpstart @NIIRYFPod, @LoserLikeMePod @Pkmn_Millennium

05 Too Convoluted To Fail
Wednesday Nov 18, 2020
Wednesday Nov 18, 2020
This week Jake and Sky watch episode 5 of the Mighty Ducks, "Phil in the Blanks."
You know how we were clambering for a Phil spotlight? Well. Here it is. It was not as Phil Heavy as you'd expect, though.
We discuss the dynamics of a dagwood style sandwich, we try to figure out the taxonomy of dragons, weather all animals are included in the term furry, the bad guys use a preposterously overly complicated plan, and WildWing steals a NASA plane.

04 An Electric Gremlin Furby
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
This week we are joined by a returning guest! Our pal Furby sits in on the episode. And for some reason his is the clearest audio? Sky is muffled and Jake is echoey, and we don't know why. Its not unlistenable, but it is noticeable.
We watch episode 4 "Zap Attack" It is odd.
We discuss how there ain't no subway in Anaheim, there is a Rodney Dangerfield reference in the show, Tanya has a human friend, and they call back to the most bizarre detail.
